The key to having a delicious, super quick golden milk latte is by firstly preparing a turmeric paste. To make the paste mix 1/2 cup filtered water, 1/4 cup turmeric powder and 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper in a small cooking pot, stirring over a medium heat until you have a thickened paste
To prepare the latte combine 1/4 of a teaspoon (or more to taste) of the turmeric paste, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 cup of plant milk (almond or coconut is good) of your choice in a small saucepan and warm over medium heat as you stir with a whisk watching as the milk turns a lovely golden colour. Remove the milk before it boils. Pour into your favourite mug and add sweetener to taste, if desired.
