Now in its Nineteenth year with graduates teaching all over the world, Sukha Mukha Yoga has one of the most well regarded and comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training courses in Australia.
This training is open to ALL who have the desire to dive deeper into the teachings of yoga; all body types, levels of practice and lineages.
The training is designed to comprehensively explore the philosophy & physiology of yoga as well as the practical aspects of teaching asana and pranayama. Students will also be introduced to the many facets of yoga and thereby given the opportunity to understand what it is they are most drawn to and what they would want to learn further and more deeply.
This course will be a journey of TRANSFORMATION and whether you end up teaching formally or not, it will be beneficial in all walks and aspects of life.
OUR TRAINING IS FOR ALL
Inclusiveness & Self Empowerment are key leading principles.
We have the most beautiful and inspiring FACULTY of teachers. Each teacher teaches that which they are most passionate and most knowledgeable about, infusing each lecture with life and PASSION.
You will have the opportunity to meet different teachers and be inspired by their knowledge, personality, and by how they each found their way in this world, sharing from their heart and journey in a way that is unique to each and every one of them.
“Yoga is the journey of the Self, through the Self, to the Self.” / Bhagavad Gita. Yoga is a journey of transformation back into wholeness. Discovering who we really are, honoring light and shadow, taking responsibility for our life, and being reminded by the enormous wisdom and knowledge that exists within each and everyone of us.
As long as you can breath, you can practice Yoga. Yoga meets you where you are as you are.
Embark on a truly transformational journey. Our teacher training will inspire you to take charge of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health by laying the practical and philosophical foundations of a lifelong yoga practice — one that you can share with others. Our training is open to ALL people, bodies and lineages.
“I feel confident that I’ve been given the whole picture of yoga – not just the poses. For that I am so grateful to Idit and the whole crew at Sukha Mukha. I have gone from not wanting to enroll in the course due to my own story of not being ‘good’ at yoga, to being excited to teach and spread the word that yoga is so much more than that!” - Emma Hayes
