Restorative yoga is an ongoing practice of pausing, resting, checking in, and softening, which is a continuous practice. In restorative yoga, we surrender the weight of our bodies to the support beneath us and invite our breath to deepen into relaxation

December is the busiest month of the year. Everything seems to move even faster, and it is the PERFECT time to slow down, take a retreat for a couple of days and night, and dive into the practice of Restorative yoga, meditation, pranayama & journaling.

Led by Idit Hefer Tamir, the founder and director of Sukha Mukha Yoga's teacher training and Restorative teacher training , this Retreat is all about YOU!

Creating a sacred space to go deeper into the body, the heart and the soul.

Shedding layers of stress and worry, creating space for eforrtless breathing and being, RE-MEMBERING to check IN, at a time and a world which constantly encourages us to look out.

Take a break from the fast moving, racing world, and for a whole weekend immerse yourself in relaxation and restoration. Discover the transformative power of restorative yoga as you embark on a journey of self-care, rejuvenation, and inner peace. Join us for a blissful journey that will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to embrace life with a newfound sense of calm and balance.

"It is precisely those who are the busiest who most need to give themselves a break" ~~ Pico Lyer

This retreat is open to EVERYONE. No prior experience required. Only the willingness to explore slowing-down

Immerse yourself in the healing blend of slow, breath-guided yoga practices and soul-soothing meditation sessions. With each breath, you'll let go of tension and find renewed clarity and focus.

Engage in journaling and introspection with guided questions of inquiry.

Enjoy leisurely strolls through nature, allowing the peaceful surroundings to inspire your thoughts and reflections.

Connect with like-minded individuals who are also on a journey to restore and renew. Share stories, laughter, and meaningful conversations that foster a sense of belonging and support.

Explore various aspects of holistic well-being, from stress management and self-care rituals to understanding the mind-body connection. Leave with practical tools to integrate wellness into your daily life

Holistic Approach: Our training extends beyond the physical aspects of yoga, embracing mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and self-care practices. Develop a holistic perspective to enhance your overall well-being and cultivate a comprehensive approach to your practice & life.

Restorative yoga reminds us that there is a space within us where peace is possible, even in the midst of chaos.

Idit, the founder of Sukha Mukha Yoga and the Director of Sukha Mukha Yoga teacher training, has been immersed in the practice and philosophy of yoga for over 25 years.

Yoga has provided Idit with a language to explore and confront various aspects of life. It has introduced her to an ancient philosophy that addresses the very questions she has pondered and offers pathways to overcome challenges and difficulties.

Guided by teachers who embody the teachings both on and off the mat, Idit's personal journey continues to unfold with each passing day. Idit continues to study, grow, and develop advanced training programs. Motivated by the profound positive impact that yoga has had on her own life, Idit is driven to share its teachings, wisdom, philosophy, and joy with others. Her hope is to facilitate healing, empowerment, and a rediscovery of the immense knowledge, power, and wisdom that resides within each individual.

Idit's primary interests lie in Vinyasa flow, viewing it as a form of body poetry and expression and  Restorative Yoga as an essential practice for relaxing the nervous system and navigating life's magical yet often challenging journey.
