Learn yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) practices & meditation.

                                   

Learn the science that explains this phase in your life, & why your brain is virtually under “construction” and how to develop the ability to:

Reflect: Assess: Respond

 

The course includes:

  • Dimensions of wellbeing, your internal weather report, and understanding Lighthouse theory

  • Goals and setting intentions

  • Breath awareness and body/mind connection

  • How to reset and recharge using restorative yoga poses

  • Brain waves and how to relax through Yoga Nidra meditation

  • 7 essential mental activities. 

  • Positive self talk with a focus on self kindness and developing empathy 

  • Meta meditation

  • The dimensions of the human experience (the Koshas) 

 

Feel a sense of calm that comes from observing yourself & your thoughts and take home your journal, your personal resource.

 

Your teacher will be Louise Gerondis, a qualified PDHPE teacher and Yoga teacher. She studied Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Teacher Training at Sukha Mukha Yoga Studio under the teaching of Idit Hefer-Tamir, Katie Manitsas. Lotus Flow with Jasmine Tarkeshi; Yin Yoga teaching with Maryanne Edwards and Bernie Clark and Restorative Yoga training led by Idit Hefer-Tamir. Louise has also completed Teen Yoga teacher training course with Teen Yoga foundation UK/ Australia. Louise is passionate about providing her students with access to the amazing yoga practices that enable them to nurture themselves and self-regulate. She strongly believes in the power of the body/mind connection to help manage the dailystresses of life and major life challenges and has practiced meditation daily throughout her adult life.
