I've been guiding students of all levels through yoga and meditation for over a decade. Many things influence my classes - my teachers, my students, life experiences, and my intention is integrate all of these factors to create a practice that is nurturing and transformative.
My yoga practice has always evolved and adapted to my life and to what I needed at a certain point in time. My first discovery was the thrill of a workout, next I explored a change in how I dealt with adversities, and now, I love that yoga can be as profound or spiritual as I wish. Yoga has transformed my body, uplifted my mind and changed my life, over and over again.
My passion for yoga lies in its ability to heal and change the way in which we live. I've seen it heal chronic lower back pain, help overcome addiction and bring about self confidence and acceptance.
I teach with a strong focus on alignment, as this enables students to practice in a way that respects their body and its needs on that given day. Combine alignment with the breath, and there is a whole new world of freedom.
I have immense gratitude for my teachers, TKV Desikachar, Judith Lasater, Cyndi Lee, Leslie Kaminoff, Genny Kapular and Pixie Lillas.
