Join Jasmine Tarkeshi for a 4 week on-line workshop series focusing on adapting our practices and lives to help support, heal and serve us and our world during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
We will explore what it means to practice during the pandemic and how we can use this time of sheltering in place and social distancing to deepen our personal practice and transform the fear, anxiety, stress, sadness and anger we are feeling, to make us more awake and compassionate human beings.
Through this four-class series you will explore the ancient wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras through the unique lens of this moment and what we are experiencing personally and universally and bring yoga’s timeless teachings to life through Lotus Flows’ dynamic and devotional dance and discipline of creative sequencing.
This timeless wisdom is the yoga practitioners' anchor, and can be a mirror for self-reflection. Building a personal connection and deeper relationship with these guiding principles helps us practice these universal teachings honestly and authentically.
Each 2 hour session will focus on one of the themes of each of the four chapters, beginning with personal contemplation followed by zoom group practice and culminate in journaling and group satsang, discussion. You will receive assignments for the week to support you as you learn to incorporate yoga’s fundamental nature into your own sadhana and life.
Jasmine Tarkeshi, Co-founder of Laughing Lotus Yoga Centers in NYC and SF and Co-Creator of LotusFlow TM Vinyasa Yoga will bring the wisdom and creativity from her years of personal practice, study and teaching to facilitate a space for disciplined practice: Tapas, svadyaya: self study and inquiry and Isvarapranidhana: surrender and service. You will be inspired to become a more courageous, creative and compassionate yoga practitioner as you deepen your devotion to your personal Sadhana and self study.
