Do you need some 'me time'? Do you want to GO DEEPER into the practices of Yoga through Pranayama, Asana & Meditation while still allowing time for exploration and self-reflection? Well, read more...

Sukha Mukha Yoga's director, Idit Hefer Tamir is hosting a powerful, life changing and self-reflecting retreat set in beautiful bushland surroundings. The retreat is located only 90 minutes from the Sydney CBD – but it will feel like a million miles away from reality. It’s time to reward yourself with the time to go into depth of other practices which daily classes don't offer.

Why Should I join Sukha Mukha Yoga's Retreat?

It's the perfect environment to turn inwards and go deeper. In the beautiful surrounds of Yanada you will go deeper into the different practices of Yoga, enjoy delicious organic food & have some YOU TIME.

The heart of the teaching is seeing that we are not our story. Rather, we are what is looking at the story; a clear, vibrant, present-time consciousness.

When we truly see this and come to know this, a shift happens. The story loses its power over us, the emotional upset or conflict dissolves, and our energy is freed up. We feel more centered and grounded in our true being, in awareness, or pure consciousness itself.  We literally see everything with new eyes.

In this retreat we will go deeper into the different practices of Yoga.

We will start each morning with Paranayama, go through an Asana practice, and end with Meditation.

In our daily classes we often don’t have the time to go in depth into other practices and often focus on Asana. Meditation and Pranayama are, however, powerful – life changing practices.

In this retreat we will make sure we explore these aspects as well as allow time for exploration and self-reflection.

Your Host: Idit Hefer Tamir

The founder of Sukha Mukha Yoga and also the Director of Sukha Mukha Yoga teacher training was extremely influenced and inspired by Jasmine Tarkeshi  from the Laughing Lotus Yoga Studio in NYC and San Francisco, Katie Manitsas from Samadhi Yoga Newtown and Sharon Gannon and David Life the co-founders of Jivamukti Yoga.

While living in NYC she stepped into the Laughing Lotus studio and fell in love with Yoga. Jasmine has reminded her of her dormant spirit and the power of transformation that resides inside of us all if we only dare to believe. Since then her life has never been the same.

Over the past eleven years Idit Hefer Tamir, has become an integral part of Yoga in Australia including teacher training programs. She continues to develop and fine-tune content, giving students one of the most thorough groundings in the practical and theoretical aspects of yoga in Australia today.

There is a famous saying; “Take your Yoga seriously but do not take yourself too seriously”.

This is Idit’s approach to Yoga and to life. Take it seriously, commit to doing the best you can each and every day, but do not take yourself too seriously…

“If you make up your mind to find joy within yourself, sooner or later you shall find it” / Paramahansa Yoganandya.

Come and join her on this journey of celebration and exploration.
